Lumberville Home Crawl Space Damage

Wet Crawl Space

when a pipe breaks there is often a lot of damage in the home. In the case of this Lumberville house the pipe broke underneath the home in the crawl space. Some may ask "Why clean up a crawls space to begin with?" 

The space between your home used to keep your pipes hidden and your floor warm. When the underside of the floor gets wet it can warp the subfloor and cause mold growth.

In order to mitigate the problem we first had to remove all the wet insulation, dry out the floor joists, and replace the insulation. We also cleaned the area and replaced the plastic sheeting.
